Hoby’s dream of riding a WaveRunner from Hawaii to California started many years ago, while he was renting WaveRunner’s to tourists in Destin, Florida. During this time Hoby spent thousands of hours in the ocean riding WaveRunners as well.

He also had the gratification of teaching hundreds of others to ride and seeing the pleasure they received in the feeling of freedom and accomplishment that comes with riding a WaveRunner in the open ocean. He often flew over the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii and would look down at the vast ocean and say. "One day I will do this!" But he also knew there would be a reason why he will do this and that’s when he would attempt this ambitious adventure.

Hoby has always had a personal mission. He grew up in El Paso, Texas on the border of Mexico. He witnessed first hand families that did not have enough food to properly feed the children. That image followed Hoby throughout his life.

As a father of four daughters he could not imagine his children going to bed hungry. He felt anguish over the thought of thousands of hungry kids throughout the world! He wondered.. "What can I do to make a difference?"

Hoby’s personal mission and aspiration is to ride jetski's throughout the world to help children and spread the message...

Love Your Neighbor, Love The Children, Keep The Faith...Spread The Message!

He wants to feed as many hungry kids in the world as he can! He also wants to help children with fatal illnesses and diseases. He does not do this for personal glory or to set a record. It is to spread the word that we all need to work together. We need to take care of each other and the kids.

We are all capable of accomplishing more than we ever thought. Let’s prove to the entire world that together we can do this!
